Soluble Biomarker Detection in Cancer Patients Treated with Immunotherapies using xMAP® Technology
For our fourth Webinar Wednesday blog, we’re featuring a talk from Mariano Severgnini, who is the lead scientist at the Immune Assessment Lab (IAL) in the Center for Immuno-Oncology (CIO) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The IAL serves as the focal point for immunotherapy clinical trials by providing expertise in sample banking and processing as well as assay development and execution for immune monitoring. Severgnini noted that he often uses xMAP® Technology because it allows him to conserve clinical sample while testing multiple markers simultaneously.
In this 30-minute webinar, you’ll learn about:
- Verifying data across different technologies (NGS, flow cytometry, CyTOF, ELISA, RNAseq, MAGPIX®)
- Identifying biomarkers to understand how drugs effect immune response
- Performing correlative studies that relate biomarker data to clinical outcomes
- How multiplexing provided mechanistic data for his 2016 New England Journal of Medicine publication that identified chemokines associated with treatment response to Ipilimumab
About Webinar Wednesday
In 2018, we are presenting a new blog series called Webinar Wednesday. Throughout this series, we will share the diverse work of the xMAP multiplexing community by highlighting webinars from the xMAP Connect users group meetings, live webinars, Luminex field application scientists, and Luminex partners. We hope you enjoy the new series!
