The trademarks of Luminex Corporation and its subsidiaries (“Luminex”) are Luminex intellectual property and are valuable assets to Luminex. You may use Luminex trademarks to refer to Luminex products in print materials and other media, as long as you adhere to the following guidelines and do not use a Luminex trademark in a disparaging or inaccurate manner. In following these guidelines, you help us protect our valuable trademark rights. If you are a licensee of Luminex and have been provided with special trademark usage guidelines, please follow those guidelines.

1. Use correct spelling. Always spell and capitalize Luminex’s trademarks exactly as shown in the list below.
2. Use appropriate markings. Always designate the trademark with the appropriate ™ or ® symbol the first time the trademark appears in the text of print material or other media. The trademark symbol may be omitted in subsequent occurrences of the trademark in the text. For the trademark symbol, the superscript mode is preferred, but if it is not available, use parentheses: (TM) or (R). The United States registration status of Luminex trademarks is indicated in the list below.
3. Use the trademark as an adjective. Always use the trademark as an adjective accompanied by an appropriate noun. Do not pluralize a trademark, make it possessive, or use it as a verb.
   

   Example of correct usage: “xMAP® Technology makes your life easier. . .” Example of incorrect usage: “xMAP® makes your life easier. . .”

4. Attribute ownership of Luminex trademarks to Luminex. When referring to a Luminex trademark, include a notice of trademark attribution where appropriate on all labeling, print collateral, or other media. For Luminex trademarks registered in the United States, use the following notice: “_____ is a trademark of Luminex Corporation, registered in the US and other countries.” For Luminex trademarks that are not registered in the United States, use the following notice: “_____ is a trademark of Luminex Corporation.”
5. Do not imply a relationship that does not exist. Your reference to Luminex or use of any Luminex trademark must not imply an endorsement, sponsorship, association, or relationship with Luminex or Luminex products or services when such endorsement, sponsorship, association, or relationship does not exist.
6. Logos, slogans, and taglines. Do not use any Luminex logos, slogans, or taglines without a separate, written trademark license from Luminex.

Except for the limited right to use Luminex trademarks as expressly permitted under these guidelines, no other rights of any kind are granted hereunder, by implication or otherwise. If you need to know the registration status of a Luminex trademark in another country, please submit your query to Legal at legal@luminexcorp.com. The absence of a product or service name or logo from this list does not constitute a waiver of Luminex’s trademark or other intellectual property rights concerning that name or logo.
