Getting the Most from Your FLEXMAP 3D Instrument

Did you know that following the regular maintenance schedule for the FLEXMAP 3D® instrument is beneficial for both your workflow as well as keeping the instrument in great working order?

Proper maintenance ensures the most accurate test results, as well as helps proactively avoid issues from clogs in the instrument and hazardous waste spills.

The maintenance schedule can be broken down into daily, weekly, monthly, semiannual, and annual procedures.

To keep track of the maintenance suggested for the FLEXMAP 3D instrument, a printable schedule is provided by Luminex. The schedule documents can be found in the FLEXMAP 3D Hardware User’s Manual located online or in the FLEXMAP 3D MANUALS folder on the desktop of the computer that came with the instrument.

For your convenience, the schedules are available by clicking the links below:

The schedule is broken up into short term and long term procedures. Writing the dates on the schedule before posting it will help show if a procedure is past due. Post the schedule near the FLEXMAP 3D instrument where it is easily visible.

For instructions on how to perform each of these procedures, the Luminex Training group has published a series of videos covering usage of the maintenance schedule and demonstrations of the maintenance procedures.

You can find these videos on the FLEXMAP 3D product support page.

The videos and instructions are also located on the “How To” folder located on the desktop of the computer attached to your FLEXMAP 3D instrument.
